Primer

Intertuf 203

  • Vinyl anti-corrosive primer
  • Single component
  • Use above and below the waterline
  • Often used in combination with Interfine 579 as gloss colour topcoat
  • Excellent corrosion resistance
  • Surface tolerant over tight rust
  • Easy to use
  • Low cost

Interprime 198 is a Marine grade alkyd primer that can be used as alternative to Intertuf 203, above the waterline, as a lower cost alternative

Primer/Finish

Intershield 300

  • Pure epoxy alu/bronze univsersal primer
  • Two component
  • Use above and below the waterline
  • Often used in combination with Interthane 990 as gloss colour topcoat, or anti-fouling

  • <0.1 corrosion after 15 years in ballast- and cargo oil tanks
  • Surface tolerant over tight rust
  • Excellent abrasion & impact resistance for use in cargo holds, decks and topside
  • Available in Intershield one 2 one ratio for easy use
  • Cold temperature cure

Intergard 5000 (Brush Grade 5L)

  • Moisture Tolerant Epoxy
  • Two component
  • Use above and below the waterline
  • Often used in combination with Interthane 990 as gloss colour topcoat, or anti-fouling
  • >15 years corrosion protection in a single coat
  • Surface Moisture tolerant
  • Cures in immersion 30min after application
  • Outstanding surface tolerance over tight rust
  • Excellent abrasion & impact resistance for use in cargo holds, decks and topside
  • Low VOC, environmentally and user friendly

Intertuf 362

  • Cold temperature cure epoxy primer/finish
  • Two component
  • Use on ships hull, in combination with anti
  • Available in black colour
  • Easy to clean
  • Good colour and gloss retention for an epoxy
  • Excellent value for money

Topcoats

Interthane 990

  • UV resistant coloured Polyurethane finish
  • Two component
  • Use above the waterline
  • Gloss
  • Available in most colours
  • Excellent gloss and colour retention
  • Good value for money
  • Excellent abrasion & impact resistance for use on topsides and decks

Intersheen 579

  • Vinyl coloured finish
  • Single component
  • Use above the waterline
  • Gloss
  • Easy to use
  • Smooth finish
  • Low cost

Alternative options in single component Intertuf 203 and Intersheen 579, in a Marine grade alkyd are Interprime 198, and Interlac 665. These are usually selected as lower cost options.

International Perfection

Anti-foulings

Interswift 6600 or 6800HS

  • TBT Free anti-fouling
  • Two component
  • Reduce fouling growth
  • Reduce drag and fuel consumption cost
  • 6800HS is higher solids, lower VOC and can reduce number of coats
  • Excellent for use on inland ships
