VENTI 3PLUS SATIN ZQ

Silk gloss one-pot system

Synthetic “one-pot” system for all woods based on alkyd resins for out of use. Silky gloss.

Application

Outside on all wood substrates (primer, intermediate and finishing coat).

As an intermediate and finishing coat on pre-treated metals and hard paintable surfaces plastics (PVC).

Properties

• Moisture regulating system: allows moisture diffusion to take place without any problems.
• Weather resistant paint system, long lasting protection.
• Supple, elastic layer.
• Thixotropic : high layer thickness and good edge coverage.
• Easy to work with and quick drying.
• Aromatic free.
• Note: yellowing

Any alkyd-based paint will, when used indoors, in white and pastel shades, influence of heat and the lack of direct daylight yellowing.

Binder: Alkyd resin

Pigmentation: Rutile Titanium dioxide and special fillers.

Shine: Silky gloss. The final gloss level is reached after 2 to 3 weeks.

Colour Can be tinted via the Herbol “LACK IN LACK” Color Service System. Available in white + base LA1 + base LA3

Packaging; base in 1 and 2.5 L (white in 0.75 and 2.5 L)

Storage: In original closed packaging in a cool, dry and frost-free place

VOC EU limit value: EU limit value for this product (cat A/d) : 400 g/L (2007) / 300 g/L (2010). This product contains max. 299 g/L VOC.

Solids content: In volume about 64 %; by weight approx. 77 %

Processing

Brush, roll. Do not spray.

Processing conditions

Apply at least 5 °C for substrate and air temperature during and after the processing.

Attention: direct sun rays, rain, mist, dew and strong wind avoid.

Theoretical return

Approx. 100 ml/m 2 per layer

Drying times (at 23°C and 50% RH)

Dust dry: after approx. 3 hours.

Tack-free: after approx. 6 hours

Can be painted over after approx. 8 to 12 hours.

Loadable: after approx. 1 to 2 days

Making stainless to a clear metallic luster is visible. degrease. Always 2 layers of soil with Herbol-ALLGRUND ZQ or with Herbol-

Apply HYDROPRIMER.

Paintable Hard plastics

Substrate with a mixture of 10 l water, 1/2l 25% ammonia solution, 2 bottle caps washing up liquid with a Scotch-Brite sponge wet to sand. A fine foam layer is created, leave to act for about 10 minutes. Connecting sand again. Then rinse thoroughly with clear water. Let dry well.

Always 2 layers of primer with Herbol-ALLGRUND

Apply ZQ or with Herbol-HYDROPRIMER.

Aluminium

Thoroughly clean and degrease surfaces with nitro thinner, sanding with nylon or perlon fleece, until complete removal of

the corrosion spots. Always 2 layers of primer with Herbol-HYDROPRIMER or with Herbol-

Apply HERBOL-2K-EPOXI-PRIMER.

Wood

After pre-treatment, a primer with Herbol- VENTI 3PLUS SATIN ZQ.
