Processing:
- Drying at 20°C/RH 65 %
- Open time 6-8 min.
- Dust dry after approx. 1 hour.
- Tack free after approx. 2 hours.
- Can be painted over after 5 hours.
- Several coats can be applied in one day.
- Drying is negatively affected by low temperature and high relative air humidity.
Dilution/Cleaning: With lukewarm water, do not use hot water.

Untreated surfaces
New or bare wood
- Degrease oily woods.
- Prime with Rubbol BL Primer .
- Sanding, sealing cracks and, if necessary, filling.
- Overcoat with a water-based varnish.
- Sand and finish with a water-based lacquer.
Rigid PVC
- Cleaning (possibly with Polyfilla Pro S600) , sanding and degreasing with
- Sikkens Thinner M600 or benzene.
- Prime with Rubbol BL Primer .
- Sand and finish with a water-based lacquer (one or two coats).
Ironwork
After a sufficient number of layers of anti-corrosion paint (at least 2 layers, e.g. Redox AK PRIMER ) apply and finish an intermediate layer of Rubbol BL Primer with a water-based lacquer (one or two coats).
Treated surfaces in good condition/maintenance
For zinc and galvanized (galvanized) iron
After degreasing and lightly sanding the zinc layers, apply a layer of Redox AC
Apply Multiprimer and then Rubbol BL Primer and finish with a water-based lacquer (one or two coats).
Old intact waterborne paint layers
Wash off the intact paint layers with Polyfilla Pro S600 and very well
to sand.
Touch up minor defects locally with Rubbol BL Primer .
Sand and finish with a water-based lacquer (one or two coats).
Old intact alkyd resin paint layers
Wash off the intact paint layers with Polyfilla Pro S600 and very well
to sand.
Touch up minor defects locally with Rubbol Primer and after dryingto mattify.
Paint the whole thing over with Rubbol BL Primer .
Finish
Remarks
Overcoat with a water-based varnish.
Sand and finish with a water-based lacquer.
In the following types of wood, for example, can bleed from ingredients Performance: Merbau, Dark Red Meranti, Western Red Cedar, Oak and Afzelia.
In pine and spruce, knots can sometimes cause a yellow discoloration.
These must be pretreated with RUBBOL BL ISOPRIMER . If there after the first layer, blood flow or discoloration should still occur, one should apply a second coat of RUBBOL BL ISOPRIMER after min. 16 hours .
